According to new syllabus a candidate is required to write one or more essay. Can a student be asked to write more than one essay, if yes then will a student be given more choices for essays ?

Old Scheme contained same statement which you posted here but never two Essays were asked in Exam so you should expect the same upcoming exam and be prepared to attempt one essay in exam |

Yes it will definitely help in securing good marks. It will be more interesting if one would be ask to write more than one essay.but it wont happen.

It might happen. More than one essay might come in Exam in any year as per rules prescribed by FPSC. However, writing more than one essay is a gigantic task to handle. It is not an easy work as you think. Different essays demand different style of writing in different dimensions.
