Remember just one thing: knowledge counts 60 per cent while language carries the 40 per cent weightage to pass this paper. Even if your language is normal but you give the ideas required, you can surely make it.

Strange Monk... The good thing about this outline is that it's not cluttered and it's simple. But it's anything but sharp and not very smart either...

Default essay

I think trying to outsmart the examiner in both outline and essay body is an overkill which eventually results in a failure. Self-explanatory outline + essay is the best conclusion I can draw so far.

@ Aik Admi

The outline was not as compact as it appears here (since it has been more than a year and a half and I have forgotten most of those points and consequently chose to add continuation marks here).

@ Monk

Let me reiterate that it was sheer luck. Had I written this trash in 2013 or 2015, I would have surely flunked. I do not deem it as something well structured. Like I said before, I had to abruptly end it despite the fact that my mind was being inundated with ideas.

@ Cogito Ergo Sum

Thank you for the advice! I have known it all along that it was nothing but the luck factor (and hence my contention that it is quite a substandard exam). Sadly, I am so not pedantic and have to count on luck to get through.

@ Topic

In all honesty, I don't think it is something we could call black or white. The tips would vary as per experiences. Besides relevance and logical flow, I would underscore flowery expression which entails good adjectives and adverbs (and not those arcane words per se).
