Kindly guide me. I am having difficulty in English, i am really confuse that how to start essay and how to write it in proper way. So I am looking for a teacher who can guide me about essay and composition paper. If you people know any good teacher of english so kindly do tell me. And if there is any other way by which i can improve my english by my own so please do tell me about them.

I went to him for class, but it seems that he isn't interested in teaching. His only interest is on Money and its his favourite dailogue is "Money is sweeter than honey" .. i am not satisfied from his way of teaching. So is there any other teacher ?

Well, it is a proven fact that his fee is high but i am shocked to know that a student is not satisfied with way of teaching. How many days have you gone to him?

First of all, he won't teach anything without getting fees. But somehow I manage to take 2-3 classes from him. His way of teaching was not that much good, what i want to say is that he was very slow and there are many other reasons because of which I am not satisfied from his teaching.
May be I am wrong because i have taken only 3 classes from him, But from my point of view I think that going to him is not a good choice..

Well, why don't you join Comex academy ? It is the best one in Sindh province. If you don't want to avail the full preparatory course, you may talk to its English teacher(s) to evaluate your essay. Surely, they will cooperate with you and reasonably charge the money.

Besides, go to any good and reputable university in your city and visit its English department and meet with any professor, agree on terms with him. He will charge money and evaluate your essays and paper B stuff time to time. In this kind of practice, you will get more attention and assistance as such kind of non-famous teachers don't have bunch of students. Hence, they give more time than famous ones. I have experienced it that's why telling you.

Rest is your choice.

Yes, its true that he does not teach without fee. So far his pace of teaching is concerned, he teaches every single student in a different way according to the level of competency of the student in language. He himself says that at least an year is required to master the subject of English and Essay if someone wants to study with him. No doubt, he teaches slowly but with a pattern which makes a student really fit for the exams.

So in my opinion, charging high fee or advance fee or teaching at a slow pace does not render him a not good teacher.

So far other reasons are concerned which you have not mentioned, please do mention them with convincing arguments or don't mention them at all because it may prevent other students from attending a good teacher like him.

For your convenience, let me share with you the numbers of other English teachers in Karachi. They are equally good according to others' opinions. I have not benefited with them personally.

Yes, I equally endorse this member's views. I was about to give you the same advice. You even can go to any good college in Karachi and ask for the services of the English professor there. They are very competent and can teach you the way better than many...

well I already mentioned in reply that "May be I am wrong because I have taken few classes from him", I am not saying that he is not a good teacher. I am saying that I am not satisfied with his way. May be other students find him good one.

And thanks for sharing the numbers of other teachers. I have been looking for an English teacher since April but didn't find anyone, hope that i will find someone soon.

Hope that everyone of you will be fine. Being a css aspirant, i went through these pages last year to look for English Essay teacher in Karachi as I needed a teacher who could check my Essay & guide me where I needed help. In this regard, I approached few teachers. My experiences with them are as follows. I am sharing my experiences here for the purpose of information so that you could choose your teacher wisely & according to your requirement.
1. First of all, I met with Sir, Yusuf Pathan, ageing more than 80 years at his home. He had a nice library of his own containing books on various topics. He gave me 10 minutes to write a few words on any topic so that he could assess my english expression. When i finished, he checked it & told me about the mistakes. After all this, I found him to be well-versed in rules of english grammar alongwith having sound general knowledge. Moreover, his fees was only 7000 for 1x student & 8000 if 2x students studied collectively at one time. The only shortcomings were that he was too slow owing to his growing age & other one; he used to talk too much which wasted too much time (since i had only 1 month left in exams hence i needed someone who could help me in this limited timeframe). Overall, I found him to be a good teacher as far as correcting english expression is concerned.
2. The second teacher that I approached was Sir Ramchand, living at Ibrahim terrace. He was around 70 years of age but had more active mind than Sir Yusuf. He did the same practice & asked me to write a few words on a given topic. On finishing the draft, he asked me to read it. I read a few sentences but he said that you have written a wrong introduction &
without checking rest of the draft, he said to me that you need help. He told me that he would take 15,000 rupees for teaching me Essay & Precis. So far so good, but when I started studying from him, I found out that he might be sound in english grammar & composition but he did not know much about writting English essay; and especially the quality of content that you need to produce for this competitive exam. Whenever I discussed any topic of Essay with him, I found him to be having no knowledge about it but he insisted on writing his mediocre & illogical points in my Essay or else he wouldn't check my essay. Once I wrote an essay & took to him for assessment. On returning it, he told me that you haven't written a single point of mine & hence gave me 25 out 100. I asked him to at least check my grammar but he did not even read the full essay & just gave me 25 because I did not write his points. Moreover, he always tried to not tell me anything extra as he wanted me to study at least 1x year from him, only then he will teach me properly; otherwise he would tell me only limited things. Seeing all this in the context of my upcoming exam after a month, I left after a week without getting my fee reimbursed.
3.After the exam, I have joined another teacher. Soon I will share my experience with him.
