So long as you maintain quality in the essay do extend its length. But length on the cost of quality is never tolerated. It is better to produce quality material without focusing on number of pages. There are candidates who have cleared essay paper with 7 pages and there is a long list of those who could not clear essay paper even with 15, 20, 24 pages.

Don't bombard your essay with un-necessary outdated unique vocabulary and mismatching idioms. Do use idioms where ever these fit the best but not mere for the sake of using idioms just because you have crammed these.

Again same rule is applied for quotations. Quotes from the well known intellectuals which best suite your essay can give you a competitive edge over others. Don't worry if you don't have relevant quotes to include in the essay. Try to balance the essay with sound arguments, facts, figures and simple references.

Test of the talent is that you manage your essay with your own words, your own but realistic, logical ideas. Quotations from others is not a mode of creativity rather these quotes are helping tools for us. We borrow some ideas from these well known quotations, actually that is sort of help for us to borrow their ideas. If you manage to write your essay without using quotes it is really a challenge.

Decision is yours, are you going to follow easy route with quotations or a challenging one without quotations but with your own analysis.

aoa argumantative essays and also those related to the current issues such as global warming etc are more safer to attempt.reasons are many: for such topics the material is easily available,it depends upon ones taste but in such issues its easier to make a safe opinion(not annoying to the examiner n also accurate), n lastly you need to put less effort with respect to memorising d facts n digits.e.g in topics related to literature one has to go through a wide reading n also should have knowledge of any work done on the topic to date.memorising too many qoutes n sayings is a must for such topics.hope it ll help.Regards noor
