You see, as far as Terrorism is concerned, convergence of interests is totally out of the question most of the times. While you mentioned the treaty of Hudaibiyah, you probably forgot the aftermath - conquest of Mecca (after merely two years.) At some point, you have to retaliate in order to preserve your interests (although only time decides whether your interests were actually according to what you had perceived or they were just an illusion.)

well Sadia i had a different approach. i thought, and still believe, that the first para should be an introduction or a definition to the main theme of the essay, equality was that in my case.

In case of the terrorism essay, dialogue was the core thing coupled up with Terrorism. All those who attempted this very essay should have concentrated on Dialogue and then on Terrorism!
