It has been observed that most of the candidates either fail in Essay paper or most probably get 40+ marks maximum. With a great research, discussion with the good Essayists and seniors i come to some of the most important pinpoints in Essay:

The reasons behind the failureness of even the cream candidates:

- Starting the Essay with reading the topical part of Essay not clearly going further the requirement of Essay.
- Spelling and Grammar mistakes.
- Using irrelevant material in order to fill the words limit.
- Using unnecessary space in order to show the Examiner the number of pages written.
- Using wrong sequence of paragraphs ( paragraphs should be arranged in unity and coherence). Most of the candidates do not know which paragraph to put at the end or starting the Essay.
- Writing illogical criticism in Essay, no doubt you are allowed to criticize any part of Essay but you must prove it with strong justification.
- Writing material without exact figures.
- Not covering the requirement or parts of the Essay which Examiner wants to see and hence it is clearly written at the starting of question paper that your Essay must be Narrative, Comprehensive, Analytical etc...
