Essay isn't to be worried about, rather to be prepared for. Never play defensive game, rather play attacking game.

Plan your strategy in two ways.

1) Work on your language, spellings, sentence structure, coherence
2) discussing your idea in detail with more appropriate examples, references and quotes

for essay remember four things matters.

1.format/sketch
2.facts plus CA
3.Vocabulary
4.quotes.
So ,i have described proper format of essay in my thread"golden rules" 4 quotes ,search for ur desired quotation on forum in thread"quotations".and make an outline of essay,ask members to check.

There are some Key Notes which u have to keep in ur mind WHAT EVER topic u chose to write

1: Good Start
2: Curre Situation
3: causes4: Back Ground
4: How to solve/ Suggestions
5: Conclusion

If u have these points in ur mind, u can write any of the topic in the world

Be sure, QUOTE FACTS & FIGURES

These are very much important, and dont try to negate, Try to be positive in approach

There are variety of topics given in the question paper.
Check old essay question papers of CSS and you will find that there is nothing to cram.
English Essay writing is a technique or better called skill which you have to acquire.
There are a lot of threads made to teach the new aspirants these skills.
Have a look at these threads and hopefully you will come up with some ideas on how to write an Essay.
