i want to know about essay format, in both urdu and english essay. can we use numbering and headings in urdu and english essay?

Dear, already a lot of work has been done on this topic. Still if u r interested to have a review, i would like to present it in a nutshell. dont ever use numberings, bullets, etc in essays. Well they r not allowed and will spoil ur essay impression.

Concentrate on flow of essay, fluency of words, spellings, grammar, etc. Start with introduction and go by and by in essay. In the end, ue an appropriate an epilogue. Do focus on introduction and epilogue, they are the main parts which are must be read by examiner.

I'd like to mention only to have brainstorming before writing an essay nad then sequencing the outlines. This is really very effective and maintains coherence.

Fatima never add headings to essay either in urdu or english caz it spoil the natural flow of essay as mentioned Qurat. Well I have also seen headings in Urdu essay books but they are lacking in quality. U can check essays in some good books like Urdu Mazameen... u will not find such flaws. U can check any english essays book there will be no headlines within essay. yes its highly appreciated to make an outline before an essay caz it make a clear picture of your essay.

thanks very much..as for outline , offcourse they have to be made in mind b4 starting the essay.but should we write the outline above the essay on the paper(english and urdu)?

i ve heard dat u r suppose 2 give headings and outlines bcz da examiner do not get into details while checking ur paper. they give a surface look 2 ur paper etc etc .wat about that???

But i am not getting the picture that y u people are usig headings stuff in essays? Y we should? We really dont need to put headings in essays, it is not true in essays. Janab u may check the essay learning books, etc. If they r giving any headings then it is just for our help. Nothing else.
