its not that much difficult, as practice will make it easier and easier.
just pick any topic from previous papers and star making its outline and then write the essay after that check it for mistakes and then re-write on the same topic keeping in view your previous mistakes.

Sis, Essay writing is art and art is not learned in one day.

Essay is based upon powerful and ineffable expressions. A few people are naturally blessed for expressions and a few learn them.
You should learn them.


This can only be achieved through practice. You should read novels, newspapers and different sources of reading and write a text in a day.
Whatever you write get it checked by a good critic and expert.


These are essentials for a good Essay.

.A perfect outline
.Introduction (Essence of whole Essay)
.Justification (Examples, remedies, causes etc)
.Infallible Grammar and sentence structure
.Flow of words (Clearness)
.Free of redundancy (repetition) of ideas and vocab
.Paragraphs should be connected like beans of rosary. (unity)
.One para should have one Idea.
.Quote quotation to beautify which can fructify
. Conclusion (The outcome of argument)

I would suggest you to write expansions (short notes) first and then you can easily jump towards Essay writing.

Write on the simplest topics and write around 400-500 words.
Then, you can know the real art, and you will be able to expand your ideas easily. Thanks

I suppose you are picking a wrong topic to start with.Maybe you have very little knowledge about that topic and you are trying hard to write anything about it.Secondly,it can be difficult if one has not practiced essay writing enough.I will strongly suggest you to start with easy topics i.e. write a short essay about your favorite book or activity.Essay writing requires serious thinking and pulling together of things so if you understand your topic well then it will not be much difficult.Before writing any essay,make sure you know everything about the topic.Remember the single and greatest obstacle to effective writing is lacking confidence in our ability to organize and express our thoughts.

for example if it is "co education" then you should search about co education on internet, should read lot of material,note down some important points in the form of hints, after that you should take a paper and write by yourself about it and first make outline that in which direction you want to take essay.for example you should start with this sequence

co education in Pakistan
critical analysis
now while writing just see the points which you had noted down earlier, write about 800-1000 words.After writing you should check the mistakes and one thing which is very important ,take some book and read the methods and rules of writing essay's,for example in the book of Syed Saddat Ali Shah there are good tips of writing essay's
