Default Position of thesis statement in essay introduction.

AoA Seniors!
I would like the seniors and CSPs to clear my confusion regarding the position of thesis statement in essay introduction. Some CSPs (Irshad Sodhar) prefer to write thesis statement as the first sentence of an introduction, while others (Quratullain Malik) make it the last sentence of introduction after building some context for it. Almost all standard guides on essay writing suggest that thesis statement be the last sentence of the introduction, while a teacher of mine (Razi Abidi) insisted that thesis should invariably come in the beginning of an introduction. I personally like it to be the last sentence as starting with the thesis statement without providing some context seems odd and loses effect. But I am afraid if it is not obvious and doesn't jump right out the examiner will count off for it. Where should it be for the best effect?
Thanks in advance.

Dear basically the standard is that you present your thesis statement as the last one or two sentences of the introduction.Beginning from very general statement related to your topic, you slowly and logically narrow down your topic towards the thesis. This is considered to be more appropriate and suitable even in cause and effect essays.I personally prefer this method and this helps me avoid digression.

I personally know Sir irshad. His way of teaching doesn't conform to the recent trend of essay. As of Sir Abidi,a CSP who took tuition from the ninety year old told me that the teacher's way was also outdated.

A thesis statement must come at the end of the first paragraph. This is a natural position for a statement of focus, but it's not the only one. Some theses can be stated in the opening sentences of an essay; others need a paragraph or two of introduction; others can't be fully formulated until the end.

A thesis statement must be one sentence in length, no matter how many clauses it contains. Clear writing is more important than rules. Use two or three sentences if you need them.
