Which one is better that can be covered with short period of time .... b/w Sociology & Journalism.... & both are new to me... i did B.com (Hons) from PU. Senior plz guide.. Thanks

Journalism is the best option, it can be covered within 2,3 days, you must have studied "Business Communication" in B.Com, most of its topic are covered in that.
But if your other optionals include Psychology, then go for sociology, otherwise Journalism

I must say that I didnt prepare any specific topic for the sake of attemping essay. Therefore, hard for me to reproduce same points that I mentioned there. However, my essay revolved around these points.

Energy crisis: causes and consequences.
Outlines:

1. Introduction
2. Importance of energy .
3. Energy scenario in Pakistan (crisis situation)
4. Causes
I. Structural problems ( facts/figures)
II.poor management of existing resources (figures)
III. reliance on expensive fuel
IV. Leakages/stealth
VI. Circular debt (facts/figure)
VII. Insincere leadership
VIII. Financial constraints

5. Consequences

I. Economic toll (dwindling FDI, unemployment, growth rate slowed, 3-4 other impacts)
II. Socio-psychological unrest
III. Polititical
6. Conclusion

Flaws/ blunders

Due to shortage of time :
* My end was rather hasty and sudden.
* Conclusion consisted of just a single sentence.
* Could not even mention outlines completely


Pertinent to mention that I couldnt give remedial measures because of poor time management.
