@ Taimoor Gondal
@ Shahreena

Would you please elaborate thesis statement, broadly and with examples?

Thanks.
Scenario=Maximum 1 Page
Half Page would suffice, one page is for the entire main Head of Intro...
Other Paragraph's length= half page to 1 page
again half page but contingent on how important the point is.....
Conclusion= Maximum one page
i second...
One thing should be noted, design your thesis from introduction to present scenario would be correct. Means from your introduction till Present Scenario one can get your essay's whole idea in other words gist of your essay. Simply, Just write down summary of your whole essay from introduction till present scenario.
yeah, and one more thing , one must always try to put as much relevent points in the outline as one can, but it happens that while we are writing the essay we remember another important point that we think would adore the essay, than it has to be included, if it is very important than you can expect to get away with it...but the real thing is that one must write according to the outline

Thesis statement is the nutshell of the whole essay and the representative of your own stance and opinion about the topic being discussed thereto...

Example: Topic: Democracy, a better system of Government or the worst, Discuss.

Thesis statement right from the start of the essay will let the reader/examiner know what your stance is about the topic asked...you think that democracy is the worst Government system of all than the thesis statement would be...

Democracy is nothing but a rule of mob, i am adamant that it is the worst of all government types.
it followed by your justifications pertaining to the above thesis statement...

Thank you Bilal, Shahreena and Taimoor.

Please would you define thesis statement and one thing more which I want to ask that is what is the size of the answer sheet's page of CSS papers. Means is it legal size A4 size or which? The members who have taken this exam are highly requested to elaborate these two things which seem to be most important. So that we can practice our essays according to these points.

Thanks............

Regards........

Dear, Is this a thesis statement? If Yes, then, can we give 'I' in essay? As you have given I am adamant.

hahaha, sure dear but this one was just to give an idea, you can of course write I as well as am adamant if you have strong justifications, but if you don't, believe me things can go awry.....

Legal size blank sheets will be given, so you are advised to start writing on blank pages to keep things nice and aligned to perfection.....
here i would like to give my favorite quote of Aristotle that highlights the importance of practice...
He says, we are what we repeatedly do, Excellence then is not an act but a habit

No, one can't write first person singular in Essay and Composition. One should avoid using it.

Look at words of Proffesor Muzaffar Bukhary for expansion writing.

"Never introduce “I” in your expansion. Always write in the third person, or in the first person plural i.e. ‘we’."

I hope, you understand it now or a senior can tell well. :)
Salam.........

I have a question is that what should be the length of introduction. And what should be length of a current scenario? means how many pages?

My Poverty's intro is about 1.5 page and current scenario is about 1 page?

And I have made my all conclusions for different essays half page 0.5...

I am little bit confused is it standard or not?

Waiting for your kind suggestions

Thanks...........
Well ! I would second the views of Taimoor .
In the light of my experience, I would just say that length does not matter at all. Brevity without any iota of doubt is the soul of the wit. If one has put forth one's ideas with lucidity and they are strictly in line with the demand of the topic , however short they are , they would fetch applause of the examiner. Be that the introduction , supposing paragraphs or the conclusion , length doesn't matter and nor is their any set measurement for them. If you have said , what have to be said then in whatsoever length is has been said is the sufficient length. Do not beat about the bush.

hmmm, dear Zohaib, Mr. Bukhari would be right, but i have done this before twice and i pulled off, this things seems abstruse to me though no offense meant...and what reason does Mr Bukhari tell to corroborate his theory...?

Bilal, one cannot jot down 'I' in composition. Every senior shall say you the same. I hope, you will avoid using it. If you won't, I can only say, best of luck again. :)
