i want to know if the topics for essay wrtng repeat every year or not? do questions in the subject of current affairs , pakistan affairs and islamiat repeat or not?

No dear, the topics on essay do not repeat that often.

Like;
Energy crisis topic was given last year so there are fewer chances of it to be mentioned in CE-13 Essay.
Rest, you can go through previous five- year essay papers for assurance.

strictly speaking they don't. however, in broader perspective they do. for example for past few years essays on global warming, women rights and terrorism are being repeated. but they appear in a different angle. so you have to be tactical in dealing with each topic.

similarly in pakistan affairs again, questions are asked on same topic, i.e lucknow pact, khilafat movement etc, but they too are asked in a specific pattern. you have to cover these topics and write their answers according the requirement of the question.

Dear essay topics are not repeated again and again, but actually the essay topics are so broad that these can be asked in differect aspects in upcoming year. If you'll have deep look over the past papers you'll find that a number of essays are asked on Democracy, Media, Economy, Islam almost every year with slightly different angles.

As per my limited knowledge, Energy crises and the Cost of Energy Crises are not the same, though they relate with each other, In Energy Crises one is required to have focus on the reasons and their cure, whereas the essay on cost of energy crises will be focusing the sufferings due to lack of energy and finding the alternative resources. I ask for the pardon if i couldn't differentiate it as well, seniors will tell much better, so they are requested to have some words on it.

Areas often and Topics rarely repeat.

One area e.g. "Woman" is not a single topic rather it is a field/discipline/subject if we keep on forming various topics on Woman we will be touching Islam, Pakistan, World, Past, Present, Future, Constitution, Various Laws, Human Rights, and Working environment for Woman. Hence, multiple topics can be constituted in the Jurisdiction of "Woman".

Similarly "Media", "Democracy", "Environment", "Economy", "Islam", "Terrorism", "Energy" and "Education" are various areas which can be subdivided into multiple topics.
Topic is a specific dimension/direction/branch of that area. So probability of repetition of same specific topic is lesser as compared to coverage of overall area/subject.

Best strategy to cover essay is to cover complete area. Such strategy saves you from expectation shock. Holistic approach for some selected areas helps you in setting the best guess and supports you in other subjects too.

I have covered Global Warming braodly, what do you thing, will it be asked in our 2013. Please predict it. If it is asked, insha'Allah

Similiarly, Terrorism is a hot topic of the CE-2013. But it is a very tricky and sensative topic?

Besides, Media is also another hot topic.

And after Qadri, democracy to the some extent.


Suggestions are required for betterment.
