Fear is our worst enemy
Outlines:
1. What is fear? 2. Infliction of fear on life 3. Different forms of fear: (3.1) Fear of surroundings (3.2) Fear of failure (3.3) Fear of anxiety (3.4) Fear of competition (3.5) Fear of skeletons in the cupboard 4. Of all our enemies, fear is the worst 5. Conclusion/Inference 1. What is fear? Fear is a feeling of great worry or concern caused by the knowledge or apprehension of danger. It is the feeling we come across in every period of life which obstructs our most of the ways leading towards directions of many paths of life. When we feel some kind fear, it is spontaneously encompassed by emotional or physical hurdles. Sometimes we do not bother our fears and keep moving ahead which is perhaps arduous but positive step, and sometimes danger too. Fear is a natural phenomenon directly apprehended by the senses, so it remains cheek by jowl with our attachments to the feelings. No person could be inattentive to it; every person undergoes this phenomenon. The thing that matters is combat against every kind of fear that comes as a hindrance to our efforts rendered in life. Fear sometimes perishes our efforts and gradually imparts timidity within us. Fear, directly or indirectly, goes hand in hand with the thoughts we conceive, with the actions we produce, and with the desires we yearn for. It is a kind of hypnosis strikes our mind whenever we feel anxious about certain matters and escalates its existence profoundly. It is nevertheless we who are liable to give more or less importance to this phenomenon. 2. Infliction of fear on life Fear inflicts our life immensely into many complexities which cause deprivation to serenity. Though the infliction of fear could be less comprehended, yet we ourselves strengthen it which disturbs our inward content and keeps us on the brink of unease. The infliction of fear includes envy, malice, ego, drawbacks, flaws, etc. These kinds of infliction are both indispensable and improbable to overcome when it is intensified. What infliction of fear give us is innumerable worries, excessive anxiety, excessive timidity and countless illusions. It is a hard to crack at once but at the same time imperative too. A man is supposed to go all lengths to fight fear to the bitter end, but it is not a plain sailing. It is no offense to say that the best way to fight fear is to sustain one's vitality and zest; very few are capable to do so. Not to speak of sustaining vitality and zest, even some people lack tenacity to deal with it. The infliction of fear on life is such that despite it is eradicated, it leaves its mark and keep intimidating us throughout life. 3. Different forms of fear: A man was descended to achieve the objectives he set for him. He proposes anticipatory measures to achieve those objectives. What comes as an obstacle hear is different forms of fear which intimidate and meddle while fulfillment of those objectives. Throughout man's life, he comes across many surroundings, prepare himself for any failure, counter any kind of anxiety, draw a veil to past secrets, make himself combatant for any competition. The experience a man earn with these aspects of life are always hampered by fear, an impediment to a man's longings. (3.1) Fear of surroundings In our life, we glide through many surroundings and experience its certain aspects; communication, fellowship, enmity and learning. In the very period of adulthood, when we become cunning enough, we are surrounded by a mob of people and within it we are besieged by many hurdles and we are ought to balance those hurdles, because we are either bound or compelled to live in our surroundings. We feel hesitation with some kind perplexity when we deal with our surroundings. The perplexity includes observation, comparison, and discouragement. As far as observation is concerned, we get afraid when we attach ourselves with the new surroundings, new people. We communicate with them and judge their conduct and behavior. All of a sudden, we judge ourselves too and find if there anything lacks within us owing to living in a new surrounding. When it comes to comparison, we match our physical appearance and mental approach with those who seem to be either below par or vice versa. We ridicule others if former takes place and are scorned when the latter takes place. We keep envy and malice against those who possess much necessities than us and curse them. Instead of getting indulged in our pleasures, we gaze on others'. Where discouragement takes place, we consider some people to whom we expect an interference in our works and they discourage us at every moment passing ahead. Those people seem reluctant to see us progressing. These three things are included in perplexity which are emerged by the surroundings and these are what we can say a kind of fear exists in our surroundings. The most appalling disadvantage of fearing surroundings is secession from it. If so happens, it becomes difficult to live a solitary life. In this world, living in solitude is tough task which cause apartheid to the charm of the world. So living in surroundings is essential and dealing with its fear is demanding. (3.2) Fear of failure "There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve; the fear of failure". We all dream of a prosperous and winning life. We sacrifice our activities, exploit our resources, forego steadfastly. If we fail to fulfill our dream, the fear of that failure goes hand in hand with us and keeps making us realize what we could have done to achieve our dream. What we conceive and will, we might not attain it. This makes us feel unsuccessful and scares us in the following periods of life. For instance, if a person dreams of becoming a businessman, he leaves no stone unturned. He expeditiously uses all his abilities to be an adept at business. In the end, if he fails to become so, he regrets on it. Though he might reach a prosperous stage, yet he repents on what he didn't become. This repentance always remains with him in a guise of fear and keeps reminding him of his failure. It is a sheer fact that we cannot achieve all the desires we yearn for, but its failure is always remembered by us and fears us. (3.3) Fear of anxiety Anxiety is a state of chronic apprehension as a symptom of mental disorder. It directly attack our mind severely and emerges as an impasse to any mental progress. Anxiety is a form of fear we perhaps feel all the time. it has many aspects; anxiety about the mistakes we committed reluctantly; anxiety about lack of any resource or possession; anxiety about sufferance we undergo, and so on and so forth. Though anxiety strikes our mind whimsically, we consider it worth-contemplating which disturbs our mind and we fall a prey to its fear. It is a form of fear agitates our daily routine and meddles in our activities. Every person comes across this fear and is compelled to overcome it. He who is capable enough to overcome it, would not be irked by it. He who could not do so would always be dragged in a labyrinth. Anxiety is a kind of ailment makes us worry all the time about it and make us unable to ponder over our works. What we are supposed to do is to devalue it and keep it at arm's length. (3.4) Fear of competition The world is moving swiftly towards big technological and social competition. Everyone seems busy in grabbing its achievements. So it is everyone's motive to reach culmination through stairs of success, but it is not a plain sailing. It requires competition. Competition is a form of fear we face mostly when we begin or are keen to begin a new period of life. It appears in a form of planned desires. The motives or aims we are willing to achieve ask for competition among several people or societies we meet in our academic and professional life. In the very stage of competition, fear arouses itself and let us know how to get through it. Some people consider this fear a positive signal which simultaneously encourages them, and some take for it an obstruction and frightens them. Competition requires strong virility which ensures intended victory. But within it, fear also alludes its defeat. It is not the competitor who appalls us, it is the fear who do so. (3.5) Fear of skeletons in the cupboard We all have kept some of our past secrets which have been shrouded in mystery for so long and we are loathe to unveil them. We fear if we reveal them, we will be considered a dark horse and will make us dubious. If we have mistakenly deceived or victimized someone through our wrongdoings, we keep it in a coffin and try not to open it or else it will emerge as a defamation to us. Many mistakes we might have committed reluctantly in the preceding periods of our life and try to keep our skeletons in the cupboard. Our personality and demeanor are intermittently changed with the passage of time. If we used to show ourselves imperiously, we realize it and replace it with a bashfulness. We do not want anyone to see what is hidden as a mystery within us. We promise to ourselves that we will never divulge any of our pas secrets in we used to do, in front of those who take us for impeccable and free from any vice. At the same time, our past secrets keep daunting us whenever our mind reminds us of them. This form of fear though sometimes adventurous to us but formidable too. The skeletons we keep in our cupboard might never be revealed, but a remorse of it will always be inside us. Once those skeletons get revealed, our all dissimulating acts will be blemished. 4. Of all our enemies, fear is the worst “The unseen enemy is always the most fearsome.” Besides fear, there are other concealed enemies or foes in abundance which attack our mental as well as physical stimulus. Few of them are; our thoughts which cause acute stress to our mind; our ulterior envy which causes hostility against enviable ones; hypocrisy, a feigning to be better than others which results into concealment of our true character. These enemies are worth-pondering, but If we pay profound heed for a moment, we come to know that all these are off-shoots to fear. Means fear is dominant above all and the reason is, fear spontaneously emerges by our thoughts, hidden envy and hypocrisy. With the above clarity, it can be well perceived that fear prevails all other enemies, that all end up with the existence of fear. Its invasion is both formidable and fatal to our life's advancements. It can also be mentioned here that more than our physical enemies, this mental one is the most ruinous. 5. Conclusions Fear has great impact on our life and its danger teems with much jeopardizing effects. The effects seize our life into plunge it into a quagmire of impediment. The timidity caused by it is ominous. It immerses our us into great infliction. Because of its significant existence, our mind goes astray to bewildered whims. Its forms; surroundings, failure, competition, past secrets and anxiety are the most notable forms that hamper us from pillar to post. Because it is a natural phenomenon, improbable to be disregarded. We cannot take it to the coventry and live without its reality, but we are compelled to keep ourselves abreast of it. One thing is required to infer here that though fear has been proved to be our worst enemy, nevertheless it also helps in shutting down our weaknesses and provokes us to challenge our feebleness with much encouragement. Despite all its dismayful causes and outcomes, it sometimes becomes a source of our accomplishments. Regards: SBK |

As far as suggestions are concerned, my first sub-heading says "Determination, will power to achieve the goals". In this point, I will discuss that we have to be determined and pragmatic oriented to get rid of fear and achieve our goal. For example, if a candidate is afraid of taking CSS exam, he can't achieve his goal. Hence, he has to be determined and demolish the fears. justifed Second sub-heading says"Tackle fear like your worst enemy and fight bravely" Point is clearly justified and supporting the topic to the great extent. third sub-heading says "Kill or to be killed-Kabeer's poetry, in which he says that do not give up and achieve your goal till last drop of your blood. His philosophy is of utmost importance that you have to kill or be killed in the ground of war. You have to focus on your target and kill your fears because fear is the worst enemy and the biggest hurdle on the way. Apart from that the most important point is that you have to believe in God, it is the key of success for both in this world and life after death. Hence, if the world is against you but you are the true believer of God, no one can stop you at all in any stage, because in this stage you don't have fear of anything except God. Like Jihadis, solder in hi war, writer in his writting and so on. Simply, point is justified here. Indeed, fear is the worst enemy. If, still I am detracted from the topic, then please do tell me and I will welcome your constructive criticism. Thanks in anticipation |
