This was quite an easy topic and one in which ample amount could have been written about the technological advancements made by mankind.
I see people have adopted some excellent approaches as stated above and this was precisely how the topic should have been tackled.

One thing i would like to add here is that I divided the luxuries and necessities of every field into two separate phases. For example let’s say agriculture. Tractors suppose were luxuries of yesterday but they have become necessities of today at the same time today we see in some large scale commercial farms making use of combine harvesters. At the moment they are very expensive and are luxury few can afford, but they are bound to become necessities of tomorrow as they speed up the entire process and lead to growth of agriculture output which is essential considering the growth of world population which is increasing at a staggering rate.

Similarly from simple telephone invented by Graham bell of Bell industries to state of the art wireless technologies the interchanging of luxuries to need has been there. Telecommunication is my field so I highlighted that how today’s luxuries optical fibers and 3g 4G will become necessities of tomorrow. etc

My point being I not only discussed how yesterday’s luxuries are today’s necessities but also how today’s luxuries are bound to become necessities of tomorrow

Now as far as typo is concerned “Luxury predecessors” is wrong English, I mean seriously what is that supposed to mean?

I clearly pointed this out to the invigilator who called the supervisor. The supervisor upon reading the sentence told me that I was right but to my utter amazement he didn’t announce it in hall. Strange ?

The students who couldn’t comprehend it are not to be blamed at all, as this is the sole responsibility of fpsc. With thousands giving this paper it should try to maintain high standard.
