Introduction:

The Humanity is facing the harrowing effects of the war on terror since 2001. The tragic event of 9/11 has created a political upheaval. That became the prime reason for vaging the war on terror.People have suffered and will continue to suffer because, of this war. Many have lost*their*lives, life savings, Keith and kin; Have suffered the injuries, fatal diseases and lifetime amputations. The absence of an international governing authority has made impossible to calculate the human losses. The death toll in war-torn*states is high due to the attacks on the densely populated areas. The drone attacks on the civilians of a Pakistani province and strikes on the Afghan cities is the part of the problem instead, of being the solution. Executions without trials are an open violation of the human rights. Besides all the brutalities, the financial setback is also a big problem. Developing countries have faced more financial deprivation than the first world nations. As they are already torn*apart by the menace of terrorism, While the developed states are adding more fuel to fury in the name of counter- terrorism policies.Pakistan is the most affected state by the war on terror. It has contributed as an alley by providing military assistance, human resources and even its territory to serve the noble cause. But it is still facing criticism by the International*community*for not doing enough.

This situation is further escalating the crisis. As a vast range of human rights violations, abuses and atrocities are being carried out such as, civil*casualties*suppression*of the*personal*freedom, limited civil liberties, psychological issues and economic depression.Ironically instead, of compensating the losses of the civilians. The*responsible*states and agencies pronounce it as the collateral damage.

Conclusion:
Nonetheless, International welfare organizations are playing a vital role in order to resolve*the issue.Diplomatic efforts of the good offices in order to create*peace*are commendable. But the major*responsibility*lies within the states that are active in the international political arena.
