First of all this essay is not written by me. Secondly, you can consider the first two paragraphs as introduction. The problems that Pakistan is facing in exploiting the natural resources has been discussed in the first para. In addition, Second para is explaining the way forward. Third, yes you may extend your intro up to 3 para, but my strategy is different. I usually write single paragraph that contains around 200 words.

A short essay..
250 words
time taken: 15 min.

Co-education-its merits and demerits

Co-education,in simple words, means “studying of both male and female under the same roof in one class”. Such type of gathering for acquisition of knowledge is very common across the world. There are, no doubt, a number of benefits which co-education brings in its turn. To begin with, co-education provides a very conducive environment of competition between males and females. The former in order to excel the latter struggles really hard while the latter also do vice-versa. Such competition directly or indirectly enhance the education standard. Besides competition, co-education provides good opportunities to both the sexes to understand each other. The misconception which prevails erodes while studying so close together. In addition to this, females get confidence in co-education system. This confidence helps them to work along with males in every walk of life. Last but not least, such system of education reduces the burden on national exchequor. The developing countries such as Pakistan, India and Bangladesh etc. needs not to construct separate universities for males and females. However, all this does not mean that the system of co-education is flawless. It has several flaws as well. Firstly, the ever growing westernization has put our youth on the brink of disaster. In universities, realistically speaking, young couples could be seen wandering here and there. They waste their time in useless gossips and do not concentrate on their studies. Owing to this factor, the illiterate and conservative people don’t send their female child to schools/colleges.Broadly speaking, Pushtun societies are highly prone to this. In sum, however, the merits of co-education overshadow its demerits. No doubt, co-education is beneficial for the developing economies ,on one hand, and for bringing social change and prosperity,on the other hand.

Default co-education -merits and demerits

English is good ,thoughts are coherent and arranged systematically.
For short essay it is excellent but if you write for any essay in css or other exam ,then you must write in the format of essay like introduction, body and conclusion.
You have not given any paragraph, there must be paragraph eg merits in one paragraph and demerits in one paragraph .

One another point you keep in mind while writing an essay, dont use like sentences ,in my point of view etc, because in essay ,it is completely of your own ideas .
Overall excellent

Coherence is missing in this expansion...One sentence is not clearly interconnected with the other ....try to bring cohesion in your writing ...

One more thing ...do not ever quote any specific community in your essay ...the examiner might be a pashtun then what will you do ? ....

Knowledge is power:

Knowledge is power: Muslim rule over the spain.
Decline of Muslim kingdoms because of negligence of acquiring knowledge
Western world dominition because of their appetite for learning
Exploration of universe and other inventions.
