ENERGY CRISIS


Energy crisis is a society-wide economic problem caused by a constricted supply of energy leading to diminished availability and increased price to consumers. In recent years, there has been a massive expansion in the global demand for energy on account of several different reasons.

Pakistan is facing a myriad of serious problems and energy crisis is one of them, a matter full of knots. Inter-dependency of economic prosperity of Pakistan and self sufficiency in meeting energy requirements is beyond any question. The menace of energy crisis is culmination of a long chain of governmental negligence and non-feasance.

The total power generation capacity of Pakistan is about 23538MW, and according to WAPDA, demand will rise to around 40000MW by 2020. In the past 5 years, annual consumption growth rate was 4.8% which is expected to grow at 8 to 10% per annum. Pakistan has present demand-supply gap of 5000MW.

Energy Crisis isn't that type of essay which can help in evaluating one's creative writing skill.You should choose topic accordingly.Secondly,In my opinion one must not blame government directly.You should use sugar coated words for that.By the way,diction is fine.

Please suggest me a topic so that I can author something about it.

Secondly, if you could tell me about some most expected essay topics for 2014, it would be a great help for me.
