Hello again, Mr. Khaliq. Having gone through the threads and posts on the forum and done my own brief research on resources, I had decided to get Akram Kashmiri's latest book on the subject.

Wouldn't you prefer that book over Mian Shafique's book. I did have Shafique's book as my second option but I eventually decided to stick to one book for the subject and thought that Kashmiri's would serve the cause better as a standalone resource, besides the internet for any topics that remained.

I would really like to hear your thoughts on the matter.

ah Publishers (http://www.kaymu.pk/general-science-...i-2341792.html)

I just realized some also suggest Rab Nawaz Samo's book on Everyday Science called Encyclopedic manual of Every day science by Faridi Publishers.

So, now I'm kinda confused since I only aim to get one book so I'd prefer it to have maximum coverage.

PS: I have opted for Khurshid Ahmed's book Islam and its meaning for Islamiyat (please do let me know if that's the one best choice).

Oh boy, I was almost dead set on getting Khurshid Ahmed's book. Hmm, I suppose I should take your advice since many people also suggest this one by Hafiz Karim Dad.

I totally agree and understand multiple books for subjects like IR but I thought that for GSA one would be enough and any one or two topics that may not be part of the book could be covered from the internet.

Now I'm confused as to which book covers atleast the maximum syllabus well. Soomro vs Kashmiri vs Shafique.

PS: I'm so sorry for having hijacked your thread and making this about my problems.
