There are many speculations about Bermuda Triangle.I happened to meet a Lt.Comdr of Pak.Navy who is still serving as on PN vessels.That gentleman has crossed Bermuda place (not exactly through bermuda triangle) many times.As per Instructions given by Pak.Navy,PN Vessels give wide berth to Bermuda Triangle.
But he shared one incident that once when he was Leutinant,a PN vessel crossed Bermuda in the morning time...What Navigating officer observed while crossing that ship's Magentic Compass (which points towards magnetic North ) lost its direction..He immediately informed C.O & all navigating officers were called on bridge.(bridge is place from where ship is controlled),GPS(Global positioning system) stopped working,so,They powered off all navigating equipments because they were no more reliable...They tracked their positions manually @ different intervals and around Noon,when GPS was powered ON,and position given by GPS was compared manually...it was almost same...so,All Equipments were Powered ON and they were working Normal....

So,as per his(Lt.comdr) views,There is some American base down in the water to keep the upper hand of American Marines on the world.
