Default Why does high altitude cause the ink to spill out?

i've heard that the ink of fountain pen flows out at high altitudes in a plane.. why is it so??

Yes dear, it is because as altitude increases, air pressure decreases. As the plane rises, the air pressure inside the pen is higher than outside causing the ink to spill out.
