Assalam o Alaikum,

First of all , its a big misconception about Everyday Science that its a cram subject. No its not at all, just try to understand how things works and even when you are travelling, walking ,think how? . Just ask question about everything like a kid and google out the solutions from the all available resources and makes notes . InshAllah at the end of day you have with lot of material ,will help you before paper.

No.If you have clear concepts, then you need to just revise or recall these.
