yes this book is enough to take a first step. Some books are mentioned in above post. You can take those books. FSC level books of Physics, Chemistry and Biology are also good to prepare for EDS.

I have not taken these books but I heard about Zubair Chaudhry's Encyclopedia of EDS thats it is a good book. However, I am unable to comment about Imtiaz Shahid's book as I have not read this book.

Guys,i bought Rab Nawaz's book some days back but started reading today...

I have to say one of the most incomprehensible books of my student life...........Just does not looks interesting and material is not synchronised,as i would have liked...

saw members post that EDS book by nawaz samo book has some mistake and kashmiri book has tough language so which book i should buy. everyday science for css exam by dogar is googd or not?please tell me about it.

For eds,solving past papers is very helpful as is suggested by most of seniors and csps..kashmiri book is normaly recommended.i would suggest you to look for notes of kips or Noa for this particular subject.But I strongly sugges you not to rely on these notes for other subjects.

theory book for eds = Every day science ( emporium series)
for mcqs of eds = advaced everyday science ( by imtiaz shahid)
