At Ur Own Risk is on a distinguished road
Thumbs up Nobel Prize 2006

Chemistry
The prize went to Dr. Roger Kornburg (US) for his fundamental studies on how the information stored in genes is copied and transferred to those parts of cells that produce proteins. The truly revolutionary aspect of his work is that it captures the process of transcription in full flow. The pictures are so detailed that separate atoms can be distinguished showing the cogs that drive the transcription process and regulate it.

Medicine
The prize in Medicine went to Andrew Fire and Crag Mello (US) for their discovery how to silence malfunctioning genes.

Physics
The Nobel Physics prize went to US space scientists John Mather and George Smoot for pioneering space mission which supports the “Big Bang” theory about the origin of the universe.

Economics
The Nobel prize in economics went to Edmund S. PhelpsProfessor Colombia University US.
He is renowned for his work on economic growth at Yale's Cowles Foundation in the 1960s, in particular the idea of the Golden Rule savings rate, which deals with how much should be spent today versus how much should be saved for future generations. His most seminal work is probably the introduction of expectations-based microfoundations into the theory of employment determination and price-wage dynamics, leading to his theory of the natural rate of unemployment – its existence, how its size is determined and how market forces may drive unemployment from it.

Literature
In literature the laureate was Orhan Pamuk a Turkish novelist: the first Turkish to win a Nobel Prize.

Peace Prize
This prize went to Grameen Bank and Muhammad Yunus (Bangladesh) for their efforts to create social and economic development.
