Default Rds topic wise notes

I WILL MAKE NOTES OF EDS , IT IS MY PERSONAL REQUEST FROM YOU TO MAKE POSSIBLE AMENDMENT IN THE ANSWER AS ANY ONE FINDS APPROPRIATE ADDITION.

I AM STARTING FROM BIOLOGICAL PORTION

CELL
cell is the structural and functional unit of life

cell was discovered by robert hook in 1531
nucleus was discovered by robert brown in 1631
cell theory presented in 1661 by scheldein and schwanN

CELL THEORY

IT has three main points

new cell forms from pre existing cell (biogensis )

all living organism formed from unicellular and multicellular ,

cell is the structural and functional unit of life

Structure of cell[COLOR="Blue"[/COLOR]

cell has different structure .
cell wall
cell organelles
cell membrane
cytoplasm

cell wall
it is absent in animal cell , while in plant cell it is present in outer most covering

composition
it is made up of chittin ,
function
main function is to provide rigidity to the plant cell and protection against cytoplasm changes

cytoplasm
it is the gel like material inside cell wall . it has two part
cyto is the solution while sol is the gel ,it also stores mineral and maintain liquid pressure

different organelles of cell
mitochondria
it is the power house of cell
function ,
it prepares ATP molecules from carbohydrates
structure has two tubules and DNA
it is self replicating
RIBOSOMES
cell consists of network of tubules and inter connected extension

TYPES OF RETICULUM
there are two types of reticulum
ROUGH ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM
SMOOTH ENDOPALSMIC RETICULUM

ROUGH ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM
RER has attached ribosomes ,
function of ribosomes
it synthesize protein
SMOOTH ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM
it is with out ribosomes.
reticulum is also called protein factory
GOLGI COMPLEX
it was discovered by golgi
it is a sac like body
FUNCTION
function is to break down harm ful substances

lysozimes
a splitting body , secrete enzymes for the break down of harm ful substances ,
function
its deficiency leads to development or growth effects in later stage or earlier phase
cell membrane
present in animal and plant cell
its composition is 60-80%protein while 40-20% lipids and carbohydrates .
function
it is selective permeable , material can flow into or outside the cell membrane.

vacuoles
it is a present in the center of plant cell while absent in animal cell
function
provide rigidity
maintain cell sap
contain salts , electrolytes .
plastid
these are chemical in plant cell. three types are known
chloroplast
lit is in the leaves of plant , leaves green color is owning to chloroplast
function
plants photosynthesis process takes place in leaves
chromoplast
different color of petals owing to chromoplast
function it attracts insects to assist in pollination
lecoplat .
it is colorless , its function is to store foods in leaves

nucleus
the control house of cell , it has DNA and RNA molecules.
it has two part nucleoplasma and nuclear membrane
nuclear membrane is similar to the cell membrane , nucleoplasma has nuclei acid ,
in nucleus genetic material is abundant to transmit hereditary character from parents to off spring ,

different between dna and rna

dna is deoxyribo nuclei acid while rna is ribonuclei acid
dna is hereditary material while rna is helpful in protein synthesis
dna has thamine while rna has uracil
dna is double stranded while rna is single stranded
dna has no type while rna has three types
ribosomes do not attach with it while rna has ribosomes

difference between plant and animal cell
plant cell has cell wall while animal cell has no cell wall
vacuole is present in plant cell while animal cell no vacuole .
chloroplast , chromoplast and leucopast are found in plant while animal cell has no such complexity
centriole is absent in plant cell while animal cell has centriole
nucleus is in center in animal cell while palnt cell due to vacuole it push towards side way

Default chromosomes

it is a thread like structure visible during cell division . its a hereditary material to transfer character from parents to offspring , every species has specific number of chromosomes , human being has 46 chromosomes , 22 pairs are similar while 23 pair is called sex chromosomes , it is different in both male and female , in male it is XY while female it is XX.

GENES
it is the measurement of specific traits in any species, genes are the arrangement of nucleotide, it is the sub unit ,gene of the coding region encodes instruction to produce specific protein or enzymes.
chromosomes
these are the condensed and over condensed material inside the nucleus , its pairing during meisios transfers character to offspring .
cell division
it is continue process for growth , repair and reproduction of an living organism . cell division is necessary for continuity of species.
there are two types of division
mitosis
meiosis
mitosis
it is a type of division in which two daughter cell with half number of chromosomes in each cell . for example in human being total number of chromosomes is 46 after mitosis division two cells with 23 chromosomes in each cell

meiosis
it is a kind of cell division in which no of chromosomes becomes half in daughter cell as compare to the parent cell. this division took place in two phases , meiosis 1 and meiosis 2 , four daughter cells are formed passing through different stages, prophase , anaphase , telophase and metaphase .
