Salaam,

Well a very good sharing. Thank you.

To add a bit, these sort of geothermal energy plants are possible only where the heat below the earths surface is enough to boil the water e.g. near about the volcanic regions. These sort of power plants are currently functional in new zealand.

Take care

Thanx! u r right. In pakistan such type of plants can fulfill the increaing demand of electricity. Hydraulic power plants r now not sufficent to meet the ever increasing demand for ever growing population. so it is the ned of hour to install such a type of power plants in country

Salaam,
I agree that the current hydro-power plants are not enough to meet the electricity demands of the nation. On the other hand, nuclear power plants are much hazardous and complex, and the traditional oil and gas driven power plants are just constantly degrading environmental hygiene, and are much expensive too.
In my own limited point of view, there are other viable options like the wind-mills (some Scandinavian countries are solely dependent upon this source), microwave energy converters and also the "Hydrogen-power plants".
The last option is much more viable because in this way we can convert our existing oil and gas-powered plants, with less cost in monetary and almost no cost in environmental terms. I will try to hunt up any of the visual aid for the sake of elaboration of the construction and function of it and post it on the forum.

Take care
