Is it mandatory to mention ayat number while quoting it or it will be ok to mention surah name?

Dear, it is not necessary at all. However, if you wish to put it up there, there is no harm in it. But there is also no way to tell if it is indeed beneficial or not.

you can just mention the ayat name its not necessary just give your answer with strong justification

It is not necessary to mention ayah no., simply write -Quran after the translation.
