Default Islamaiat questions

Aoa
From the past paper u may observe that fundamental element of Islam had been part of paper ( zakat , roza , hajj , nmaz ) but in 2010 the whole paper was generalized
So u hav got to know idea of every topic w.r.t temporal as wel as Islamic point of view on fundamental beliefs
I appeared in 2007 but failed in precise
Do pray for self, all n merest very experience poeple are in forum
they can guide better
Regards

@ Fareed you are quite right, I appeared this year the paper was general one can attempt that paper if he is good in reasoning. Seeing the pattern we can say that there are no certain topics, which one can cover and be confident that he has covered the syllabus. Friday features in DAWN are good source of combating such questions for Islamiat.

The topics which one supposed to cover should be somewhat like these:

Islamic society and its down fall (Remedies etc)
Image of Islam how to improve in west
Islam religion of peace
Deteriorating norms of Muslim Umah
Islamic ideology and terrorism
Women rights in Islam
Shariat and Pakistan
Democracy and Islam
Islamic code of conduct

@ Saba I hope it might give you some idea.

Well since the 2010 paper was very generic in nature, yet very difficult to attempt- where do u study from? A good 70% of the paper was NOT from the 2 books that Im studying from, namley ISlam:Its message and meaning and another one by Anwar Hashmi. Am in a fix, cuz i cudnt even pass the paper at home (not given the actual paper though)
