Books for Islamiat preparation?

Hello, Plz tell me I.S ki prepration k liy best books kon c hain.

Carvan publishers
2.imtiaz shahid
3.khurshid ahmed.

Best book 4 islamayt is Quran i majid bt one can't study it, bt u should have little info of Quran i majid ,its translation.so examiner
will have perception that u r very qualified person.
For this go 4 "Allama muhammad ghazali" ke buk ,that have many citation of Qurani majid and info of current affairs.

For Islamiyat i would never recommend
Islami Nazariya e hayyat by Khurshid Ahmed (font is intihaee poor that one cant read more then two chapters)
And
Ismlamiyat by Dr.Niazi( because only ahadees n ayaats are given,no proper explanation n way to paper attemp is discussed)

Imtiaz Shahid's book is better................


and I have prepared comprehensive notes on each and every topic,book is being printed by ILMI and wll be in market in a week or two.

one should atleast see its table of content to have a better idea........

Ur right when u say that the font in Khurshid Ahmed book is very poor..But the arguments and explanation of each thing is very well given,and if u can go through the pains of reading it,it certainly gives u a very philosophical perspective on Islam..So,I would never discount that book from my list..

read the books for guidance and try to be analytical about the implications of the teachings of Islam. as past papers show that even after reading books one can not attempt 100% paper.....

You are very right but now we need updated books as questions being asked in papers since 2009 are totally different

ab ye nae poocha jata k ROZA kya ha
and its not mere a islamiyat paper but current affairs type so updated books ko consult krna is good n Khurshid is good text but i commented on its font
no doubt behtreen book ha per font makes it difficult n time taking

2011 paper was also current affair related in many questions and demanded explaination from candidate's own pool of knowledge..i read khurshid ahmed,niazi and even a part of imtiaz shahid but i found myself navigating poorly through objective type..i think the questions are deviating from old ones...so i think a good knowledge about contemporary affairs in light of Islam is necessary...what would you suggest for this kind of preparation?

For current trend/pattern of Islamiyat paper, it is necessary to read Friday Feature of Dawn regularly and also collect material from internet on such topics including:

1) Jihad & Terrorism
2) Whether Shariah System can be implemented in Pakistan?
3) Is Islam compatible with democracy/modern democratic system?
4) Ijtehad and contemporary challenges confronted by Muslim World
