islam : its meaning and message by prof khurshid ahmed. i used the same book and got 68 marks in ce-2011 .


moreover some people also recommend islamiat for css by farkhanda noor

SIR I prepared islamiat from both these books and attempted the paper in english but got only 41 mks. i also gave referances of AYATS in my paper. plz suggest what went wrong and also share the manner in which you prepared and attempted the paper. i also appeared in css 2011.

i did not give even a single reference of any ayat. for me it was a paper of current affairs cum islamiat. apart from this book i used articles of dawn. and i quoted figures and relevant data. like in the question of modern civilization , to substantiate my claims that modern civilization is a failure , i said that around 22000 children die everyday due to absence of medical treatment . so if science has really progressed why it cant save these children.. because modern science and scientists ultimate aim is money ...

Great brother ! 68 is really very good score ! You only read meaning and message and friday features ! Since examiner has reverted to old traditional questions like pillars and fundamentals of islam , what book would you suggest for these topics ?

brother,you might have read this book as a basic book.But It would very kind if you tell other members what books to read in order to solve past years papers..

for traditional questions ..farkhanda noor's book may come in handy ...whatever the pattern is prepare the following topics

political model of islam
economic model
judicial model
human rights in islam
freedom in islam
women in islam
day of judgement ,it's impact on human life and islam
impact of religion on human life
islam as a complete code of conduct
islam and comparison with other religions
jihad and islam
sources of islamic law , especially ijtehad
namaz,roza, zakat ,haj ,their significance and islam
concept of punishment in islam

these are the topics . whether there is a traditional paper or paper from current affairs , if the above topics are prepared thoroughly then u can easily attempt the paper
