Brother I could only attempt 3 long questions due to my mismanagement. For start, read Abdul Hamid taga's book for basic ideas. Understand all ideas in part I of CSS syllabus. memorize definitions or create your own definitions of basic concepts. For theories, read Macionis' book and consult YouTube videos. Do quote examples and explain the ideas with terminologies of sociology. Focus on presentation. Try to hit the question in introduction. Give the subject its due. Sociology would not give you 80+ marks. But it can give you 60+ with good preparation.
Understanding what sociological perspective is key to scoring good in the subject.

Good presentation means the question should follow logical sequence. For instance,

Compare Ibn-e-Khaldun’s Asabiya and Durkheim’s social solidarity on the basis of consonance and dissonance in the major premises of their theories.

In this question, I would firstly give a brief overview of both ideas. After the overview, i would discuss the points of consonance and dissonance under separate headings.


Then write the conclusion.

Wherever you know the definitions and keywords, highlight them or write them with pointer etc. It would give the impression that you have studied the subject

alright. Can you guide about essay? who was your evaluator? Which essay did u attempt? What was the length of outline, paras and whole essay? How many figures did u quote? What is your method of writing intro? I hope I am not bothering you with so many questions. Thanks in advance
