Here are my insights

1- CSS is not a game of more than 40 days. (if you are investing more time, there is a high chance that you are trodding the wrong way)
2- Go to paper with full confidence and open mind (in this way, nothing can surprise you)
3- Do not clutter papers with headings (they kill the beauty of paper)
4- Justify the answer
5- Targeting exists !

40 days? How on earth? Yes if you have already appeared once after 4 months of preps at least.

Though Depends on various factors viz educational background, exposure, analytical skills.

No two individuals are same

I dont think 40 days is justifable in any way at all. I mean it is afterall the most difficult and sought after exam in the country.
Secondly,
i have always scored much higher in subjects where i filled my exam with headings.

The rest I agree with. Targetting INDEED is a real phenomena

And also, i think some exams this year were PATHETIC. And by exams i mean the question papers.
Us history, political science, criminology, business administration, sociology and economics. The english of the current affairs exam was below average. It was not even understandable.

But this was my opinion before the result too.
Even though i scored quite well in some of these exams i called pathetic but FPSC needs to raise its standards

can you tell me what is your score in business ad? asking to get an idea how did it go i had it too. Pol sci has been badly hit this year

Hey Sheharyar ! i am not instructing/schooling/forcing anyone to follow my words. This is my experience and i posted it honestly. You should follow your scheme of preparation.

I just shared my insights which you can disagree with full liberty. In my both attempts, i utilized last 40-45 days. You may disagree; you may consider this exam most difficult and sought after, but how many days do you need when you can dedicate 4-5 days to each paper in these 40 days ?
My writing style is different, i scored more when i did not stuff paper with headings, because they break the flow of your writing process and train of thoughts, which you cant allow in those short 3 hours.

I had 55
Theyve been generous considering how pathetic my exam went lol
