is it possible to change preferences for CSS2008.
I HAVE OPTED FOR PSP,MERIT NO 19,SINDH R.CAN I GET IT CHANGED INTO DMG OR IS THERE ANY MUTUAL CHANGING FOR GROUPS.

Brother,

There is a procedure for 'group swapping', but you can swap your PSP with a DMG guy from Sindh (R) only. Unfortunately, all the guys getting DMG in Sindh (R) have opted it as first choice. No one would be willing for that. See if you can convince them. The procedure is starts when you join the CSA.

I thought we'd have a good time in PSP together.

well!!
procedure is there
which only starts after joining CSA

BUT its close to impossible for group swapping
as too too many legal and other formalities

people have changed groups in the past. the one example i know of is that of the 31st common topper zaid bin Maqsood. he was in Police but then changed the group with one of his batchmates and went to DMG.

@ Mahmood But there are still other examples as well. I was told that topper of CSS 2005 (don;t know the name exactly) tried everything to change preference from Foreign Service to DMG, But never given DMG.
