Guidelines for Assistant Superintendents of Police (A.S.P)

1. An ASP must call on the following officers after assumption of charge :

• D.I.G
• S.S.P
• D.C.O
• District and Session Judge

2. An ASP if posted in cantonment must call on the Station Commander. In addition to this, he/she must sign the visitor’s book of Corps Commander/GOC.

3. A subordinate officer never walks on the right side of his officer, since it would create a hurdle when the senior officer is returning salutes.

4. Only the senior most officer returns the salutes in a gathering or march-past.

5. An ASP U.T has the privilege of calling-on his superior officers without prior appointment.

6. An officer must not close the telephone/mobile until and unless his superior has. May be the senior officer recalls something and would want his subordinate to know.

7. A junior officer must return the phone call of senior officer at earliest.

8. A junior officer never calls his senior officer via telephone operator.

It will be 9000 after deductions.

Salary at NPA

Depending on the province to which you are allocated.

Officers allocated to punjab will get 37000 per month
Islamabad will get 48000 p.m
Nwfp, sindh and balochistan 27000 p.m

Routine at NPA

6.30 - 7.00 am PT
7.30-8.30 Parade
9.15-1.45 Classes
5.00-7.00 pm games/parade/firing

Dear colleagues,

I ve come to know that attchment with F.C is mandatory for ayear,if so then what is the nature of job there in,moreover,i ve 5 years service in BS-17 and likely to be in BS-18 through upgradation of SECTION OFFICER's post to ASSISTANT SECRETARY.Will it make difference in pay/salary as salary is already higher for ASP.I mean to ask whether there is any formula of allownaces or it is lumpsum.
