Well sister I am really sad to see your DMS.... It was a near miss....

But a word of encouragement... In 2004 my friend Mufakhar Appeared and scored 697 marks without composition... He didn't loose heart, picked up courage and appeared again in 2005 and he secured 766 marks in written and 196 in interview... and got 2nd position...

So my piece of advice to you is to go to a good english teacher.... hon your skills for essay and appear again with an aim to enter in top ten positions... and Inshallah you will get your dream - with distinction of course....

(Just a clarification)

No offense meant but Mufakhar appeared in 2006.....he was in 35th common....He was a batch mate of my brother, that's why I am sure.

He appeared in 2005 for the 1st time and again in 2006... You are right... But still the main point behind stating his story is to encourage all the aspirants who nearly missed their goal..... Hope i stand vindicated

Dear All,

I request all those who attempted CSS to advise me how to attemp a paper to get reasonable score between 55-65 range. I have following questions.
1-Does score has something to do with the subject?
2-Is it just a myth or fact about some subjects are scoring and others not?
3-And is there some parameters/rules/guidelines which needs to be followed while attempting (written part) any specfic subject?

Please tell me from your own experience.

Essay is such a brutal subject...though i have passed it but feel for those who couldnt make it just bcoz of this particular subject.

the only reason why i haven't opted for it was coz i thought it wasnt scoring and now people are getting 160 plus in it.
