Cool @Last Island

Let me start by saying that i have nothing against my brothers and sisters from any area or province of Pakistan. Neither i want to make this an issue of provincialism, because i personally think we should look above such territorial boundaries.

But i don't believe in quota system at all. There should be no quota system in professional institutes of any province. Domicile should not be hindrance to get somewhere. We have PMS for provincial nominations.

How on Earth it is somebody's fault that he was born in Punjab or as a matter of fact in any other province.

yes i also agree dier should b no quota system in CSS .its total unfair dat a Punjab's candidate is not getting allocation while securing 850 marks or near to dat and other province candidate gets the seats. where is justice and dier is also PMS of every province then why quota in civil service which is competitive exam. and another thing people who appear in CSS are educated and not deprived of education facility on which quota system is established "one of reason for quota system"

@ lahoriate1234

This happens when we are not selfless. 216 officers ruling in Punjab and 15 trying hard to set everything right in Balochistan. Already devastated Balochistan will suffer more. I bet, the day Baloch candidates outnumbered Punjab candidates, latter one, once again, will demand quota system.

@ Last Island

Since our inception we have the quota system. Had it been any useful in making the circumstances better anywhere? These things only divide

True solution lies in more decentralization and equal development.

@ Last Island.

There are provincial public service commissions in all provinces. When we talk about federal public service commission then from where does provincialism arise? On the one hand we are talking about federation and on the other hand we are denying the right to people of Punjab. If 600 people pass from Punjab then is it there fault? I mean some members from Sindh are crying over being allocated in a lower group, while they have scored less marks in the exam. I would say that they should work hard. If people from rest of Pakistan cannot compete with Punjab then they should not demand quotas. I have no problem if the candidates from other provinces get all the 300 seats but they should score more marks. Merit died an untimely death when people with lower merit got allocated because of their domicile. If the other provinces are backward so is Punjab. No one talks about the rights of Punjab, as if Punjab is London or New York?

people should get what they deserve. if people from punjab are at the top then they should get it. i completely agree with shallow water. ******** what is the fault of those people who are high on the merit and would not be allocated , where would they go. ************

If Punjab has 150 seats, it means Punjab does not need more than 150 officers this year. Doesn't matter how much the rest of the candidates score.

Please dont compare PMS/PCS with CSS. Does PMS have same groups and cadres? Are magistrates and tehsildars equal to CSP officers? Who is going to take care of other provinces if majority is inducted in Punjab?

My dear brother,

let me explain u. we live in a home called pakistan.

at night papa bought 8 oranges! right, yr share is let 2 oranges and u r given and u have gobbled them up, i got 1 my share but im little sluggish and slow to eat and it is kept somewhere! will u snatch my left half bc im slower!

Each province and area has open merit in that area. each province has certain seats if seats r not filled one year still they r yet share for that region. but u people had filled yr share then what do u want my half orange be bc im slower and little sluggish!

Have mercy on ther fellow country men, and be content with your share.
Don't stare yr eyes in my half orange!

its not about papa bringing oranges to kids its about the life of people and when we talk about merit it does not mean that every time candidates of punjab would be at the top. in sindh where u live have got good education institutions , you guys need to work hard and if u are at the merit you should get allocations and not the candidates from punjab
