Do we have option of attempting Islamiat in either English or Urdu?

yes dear u may attempt this paper in either language. infact most people believe islmiat attempted in urdu gives more marks.

so u have option to either in urdu or english

The option is there but from my own experience I would suggest to do it in English coz when you go in to second hour of the paper the hand starts to tire out due to lack of practice in writing urdu. I attempted a paper in urdu after the lapse of almost ten years. last time i did it for my FSc. I didn't know it would turn out like this but it was very frustrating and u believe it or not but I knew a few words in English but had to concentrate a lot to remember its synonym in urdu. The problem iis mainly due to the lack of writing practice in urdu as we progress in higher education.

If u plan to attempt it in urdu u must practice and know ur writing speed. This is what I have to say in this regard.

Its better to attempt Islamiat in English. I agree with qaarjk that writing speed matters. I personally found it very difficult to write in Urdu, so i attempted in English.
