I would like to share an email i received from my friend today.

"I am shocked today. I received a letter from the FPSC in which it has been stated that my result can not be declared because of late submission of the form. On the other hand, I submitted the form on the time and I was given the admit card, my name was published on the website. More important, I appeared in the all papers.
Furthermore, I have been informed about this shocking news after eight months. This is totally ridiculous and big blunder by the FPSC.
I have written an application to the secretary and will fax it 2maro.
Brother, any suggestions for me in this regard as u r senior to me.
Ur valuable comments will be highly appreciated"

I am really shocked to listen your situation. Yeh FPSC ka aik bohat bara drawback hae ke yeh late application accept nahin krti. 2ndly when we apply, it is written on aplication conditions that our candidature remains probitionary till whole of selection process.First i shall share my experience with you and then i shall give you some recommendations.
I also faced same situation 5 years ago. I qualified written test for a FPSC post and some days later i received a letter that my application was received after office hours on same day. I made an appeal and 2 of FPSC members heard me and insisted that my application was late. Magar jiss cheez ka muje sab se ziada dukh laga, wo yeh thi ke muje unhon ne usi din hearing he liye bulaya aur usi din baqi candidates ko interview ke liye bulaya. It means FPSC members were mentally prepared not to give my appeal any weightage. I got much disgurted but you will be dishurted more than me because I guess you cleared written part and that s why they are verifying basic requirements of applicants before announcing result.........So your written part is pass....Congrats....

For yoyr hard luck, you insist not on FPSC but also go to judiciary otherwise FPSC wil ruin your.....They did it according to law. But you can take plea that if my application was late, why they accepted?

Shallow Water! I wish to congratulate you on your success and hope you rise and shine in your further endeavours as well inshAllah. I just registered here, but since I took my first attempt with 2010 exams, I had a similar experience as your friends' who emailed you.

On the instructions page for this year's forms, it said that the first page (the one with candidate's picture on it) can be faxed to FPSC by January 1 and then within ten working days the rest of the documents can be mailed. I was told that they did accept the faxed first page on January 1st, and the rest of the documents can just be mailed. Please ask your friend by what date did he submit his papers. I have heard of a case earlier where a candidate's result was withheld due to late submission and he had to appeal to the chairman of FPSC. He did get his result but unfortunately he hadn't even passed. And when did he get this letter by fpsc? since this indicates that the result is due within a few days inshAllah.

First I shall advise all aspirants/CE candidates that post your application forms well in time through Pakistan Post using REGISTERED/UMS medium and keep the receipt in safe custody.
Secondly, brother you will have to prove that u mailed the form in time by using Courier/ postal receipt. Moreover, you will be called for personal hearing also. Pray for yourself, and we also, for good outcome.
Thirdly if your form was delivered after office time then you may consult court against the courier/postal services you used.
