Default Would appreciate responses..

Alright, here's a thing that is bothering me.

Firstly, I performed really ordinary in the Islamiat Compulsory paper. I wasn't actually sure till the last minute whether to attempt the paper in Urdu or English; eventually chose the former & made a mess of everything - I had not practiced writing in Urdu for like ages, so I really taxed my hands out there & could hardly capitalize. I knew, but just couldn't write.

Secondly, in Islamic History & Culture paper II again, I ran out of material on hand since the whole paper revolved around the Muslim Spanish History & I had just about covered the syllabus of paper II & had not covered the Spanish history that thoroughly. I only knew answer to one question; rest, I made things up. I don't know if the guy who had set up the paper had Spanish origins or something.

Being true, I could have done far better in Essay as well. It could perhaps yield like 40 to 50 odd marks according to my estimation. Anyhow, the reason for writing this up is that my total would definitely be on the lower side & I have heard that the Interview portion does not contribute much to the final merit list. I would really appreciate if the esteemed seniors & officials would shed some light on this matter. Is it just another psychological barrier or am I in hot waters?

Give your best shot in the interview... It is not entirely true that interview marks do not make much difference. This is a cushion of 300 marks which you can make the best use to yourself. You take a lead of upto 100 odd marks in the interview by performing really good (~230) over the one who doesn't (~130).

@ umair334: Yeah brother! Regardless of my final result this year, I will be appearing in CE-2011 anyway. Best of luck mate!

@ maliasghar: I so hope that I make good use of that cushion brother. Thanks for the affirmative opinion though. All the best!

@ tknw01
my case is akin to yours..i just devised my strategy in last 2 months just to ensure i get through..did damn bad at objectives n some idiotic blunders..but thank God i cleared..now since fortunately we are here why not give it our best shot!who knows we make it again..lol (reminds me the case of forum member amubarak who failed in mercantile law ppr but was 27th over all)..
besides if u dont get the group of ur choice u can improve later but u ll be considered 39th commoner..thats an advantage..what do u say?
