Ok, here goes the details of my interview.

As I was ushered in, the customary greetings from the Chairman came. He started reading out loud details about my education record, and asked a few trivial things, to which I just nodded in affirmation. Then, he started a volley of question.

Chairman:

First question on some geographical feature (I don;t remember, because I did not about that :) ).
Where are the Grand Canyons? (Again, I did not know about their exact location)
Tell us about your domicile district. (I gave him a small brief)
Prominent personalities of your area. (Mentioned 4, to which he asked me about one more, and I said 'yes, he also belongs from my area')
Details about my current job. What specific are you doing? (I am working in education sector)
Why is early childhood education necessary?
How can you be of any value while serving in DMG?
What are your views on the state of governance in Pakistan?
What lessons have your drawn from the favourite book you have mentioned?
After he was done, he handed over to the other member.

Second Member:

About my previous job: what was my job role there ?
There are apprehensions about privatization process. What should be done?
Planning Process, and can it be applied in District Governments? Who should be responsible for that?
Your views on latest Monetary Policy issued by the State Bank?
How can borrowing of government from the SBP be curtailed?
What are your views on the latest uprisings in Egypt and its consequences?
Last member:

What is the difference between administration and management?
Why do you think bureaucracy becomes politicized?
How can this politicization stopped?
How can your IT background be of any help in district administration?
What are the generations of Computer
I was not asked anything about my proforma, or optionals, nor any comment was made on my psychological profile. I don't know if that is a good thing or bad. Neither were there any questions/discussions on my hobbies, interests, or my education.
I am a little nervous, because I was not asked questions on my strength areas, or which I had prepared all this time.

No need to worry bro. In fact, nearly none of the questions there was one in which you might have had to say sorry. You gave your views, its upto them if they like them.

And consider it that you're lucky that they didn't touch your interests. Look at what they did to me. I only said i could speak (and claimed i could not write/read) 7 languauges, and yet they asked me to produce some poetry of Punjabi! Of course, i was rendered speechless.

Irrespective of whether my interview went good or bad, i feel lucky though to have been asked from all: the subjects, general knowledge, interests and current affairs.

Please solve my confusion.

Dear friends i have a confusion and expect that you will help me in sorting out that, especially those who have pass through the whole process.
Problem.

Is contradiction among information of Form 1(the one through which we get admission) and Form2 (the on we fill before Psychological test) favourable, hurting or remain nutral during interview.

Example..
I hv not mentioned one of my job in Form 1 but now i want to include it in Form 2 as i would not be able to express my life span completly without that.

Your cooperation and experience will be of great values to wash out my confusion.
