Dated: 14/02/2011 (first day at Lahore)
Mr. Rana Bhgwan Das
* Questions related to my psychological profile. * Reasons for opting subjects other than my majors in Masters. * Asked if I am going to appear in CE-2011. * Questions regarding my favourite personality. * Asked regarding theories of Journalism. * Raymond Davis case & its implications. * Decay of nations & civilizations. Mr. Suhail Safdar * Other name of Multan & its four famous things. * Difference between Islamic History & Muslim History. * Questions relating to Economy of Pakistan & Tax system. * Measures needed to curb Tax evasion. Mr. Ovais Mushtaq * Diplomatic Immunity & Vienna Convention. * Suggestions for improving the selection procedure of CSS. * Uprising of Arab nations & its implications w.r.t Pakistan. * International Trade & Budget Deficit etc. Mr. Saud Gohar * Grand Canyons. * Justifications regarding my group preferences. * Geographical importance of Pakistan. * Basic steps of formulating foreign policy. This is everything I am able to recall at the moment. Contrary to what I was hoping, Rana Bhagwan Das played the bad cop that day & (surprisingly) Suhail Safdar, the good cop. Bhagwan Das was even mocking & laughing at the answers. My interview did not go as I had hoped. I stumbled while answering almost every other question. |

Actually I didn't do very well in the written part so I was kinda relying upon my interview for allocation, which didn't go well either. :D I don't think I'll be able to fall in merit.:unsure::closedeye |

* Difference between Islamic History & Muslim History. * Uprising of Arab nations & its implications w.r.t Pakistan. * Geographical importance of Pakistan. * Difference between Islamic History & Muslim History. I couldn't differentiate, so I asked him instead. What he said was that since first four caliphs followed Islam in true spirit, we relate to that era as Islamic history & afterward Muslim history. * Uprising of Arab nations & its implications w.r.t Pakistan. Since we don't have any authoritarian ruler at the moment, I don't think such uprising would be justifiable here. The democratic process needs to go on & it would eventually pave the way for good governance. * Geographical importance of Pakistan. Gwadar project and gas pipeline projects waghera waghera.. |
