why psp at the end ?
dmg is no doubt the most prestigeous group as history tell us, but from last 6 to 7 years psp is on top. And it will be this time too. Case of muhammad bin ashraf is example. DMG was a tradition and it is changing now
You are mistaken. In 2009,DMG and PSP seats in Punjab finished side by side.In 2010,DMG has come up as clear leader in preference list.Let me tell you the statistics of my batch.Punjab has 18+2=20 DMG open merit seats and PSP has 7+1=8 open merit seats.20 DMG seats finished at merit number 46(Pakistan).While only 8 PSP seats finished at merit number 51.Similarly in KP,2 seats of DMG are taken by merit number 7 and 18,while PSP has been taken by Abdullah,19th position, whose first preference was DMG.Overall,35 out of top 50 candidates preferred DMG,10 preferred PSP and 5 preferred FSP.Its clear.DMG is on top.And whether a group is top of preferrence list doesn't depend on the topper, rather top position holders i.e first 50.This trend started reverting to DMG fron the 37th common, and has solidified in 39th CTP.40th would be no different. There is only a specific set of people, like FSP,that put PSP at the top.Rest go with the proper preferrence list like DMG,PSP,PCS/FSP.Hope you get the clear point now. |
why psp at the end ?
because i am a person with beard and you know my religion is very dear to me and in Police one is always prone to political pressures and forceful bribes, i cannot withstand either of these so PSP is least preferred group for me... |

Postal services i think are most less interfered politically. |

We need honest people in every department, if we all will withdraw from facing difficulties and challenges, then who will change the system?being a Muslim, we are made to fight against evils not to opt defensive approach... |

my list
dmg
fsp customs psp I dont remember what I wrote next..reason for puting dmg on top is family pressure...But I'm really worried.my papers didn't went well.jo bhi ho acha ho.otherwise.....:( |
my preference list was something like
1.dmg 2.fsp 3.irs 4.pcs i dont know why i had put irs before pcs :thinking |
Political pressure and corruption is prevalent in each and every government department in one form or another. It is upto you whether you want to indulge in such practices or not. If you want an honest living and dont have the political backing to withstand pressure, chose some other occupation. Civil services is not for you

@ Hamza Salick
Bro! Will you be kind enough to share your preference list based on these 6-7 months of training please? I mean share with us a preference list which you deem to be appropriate NOW(including all the 12 occupational groups). |
