I myself have witnessed the sifarish culture in the most acclaimed sifarish proof fpsc :p it was very disappointing for me as i thought it was the only institution above sifarish.and those people have secured prominent merit numbers :p after all ITS PAKISTAN . No offence to anyone!

The panel considers the interview a totally separate thing than the written. I got 650 in written but 205 in interview. In interview it is not only your knowledge which is checked (or generally it is not checked at all in interview), rather it is your appearance, behaviour, attitude, promptness and alertness etc is checked. As a former Human Resources Manager, when I interview the candidates for any position, I consider it totally separate than the written test marks. Rather I check the candidates commitment, team work, communication skills, personality and cost effectiveness.

After rating on these criterion, the marks are added up with the written marks and merit is made. This is how we do in private sector, in fact in one of the best organization in the world. I think same goes true for FPSC.

One more thing here, on my interview day there was a guy whose father was a retired secretary from DMG and serving advisor to chief minister, another was son of serving IG Police, another was son of a custom officer, then one from very high class feudal family full of csps. But Usman khalid was the top scorer of interview on that day and i stand second in interview marks on the same day. My father was a fire driver in fire brigade and he is not alive same is the case with Usman his father also not alive and he is also feom middle class. He stood 22nd in Pakistan and im 70. If you ask me about my perchi and Sifarish, it was ALLAH yes it was ALLAH Not any IG DIG OR DCO. Be positive and have trust in Allah.
Better luck next time

The humble above mentioned candidates had surely got good marks in interview. Where they didnt score were written marks. You can proudly claim that you have got good marks but you cannot euphemistically deny that there is no sifarish culture, it is there which is very strong indeed. We cannot imagine how in such cut throat competition even one mark matters. My friend who qualified in 2009 told me that she did not have any wrong answer in interview and even then she was given low marks in interview and a son of IG or DIG was given highest marks in interview though he has low marks in written portion. We have witnessed the same trend in 2010 and 2011 and dont know for how many more years to come.

Very good if you are from lyari lets see what will you do for lyari after becoming chief secretary of Sindh. good luck.

Well first of all I must clarify that interview marks are not awarded only for correct answers of question. they want to check your confidence, ability for a specific group, personality and most of all your analytical skills. If at this level an aspirants speaks about the number of rite and wrong answers it for sure shows lack of maturity. and the panel.is very rite to send him back to the process for further maturity.

Well the credit goes to the panel which pushed her to refine her capabilities and see now she is AC. Thats what i explained that the panel analyse you and sometime resend you to the process. now if we follow your theory then Isn't it contradiction? She failed because she did not have perchi or sifarish but now she is AC, must have found some perchi this time around, rite????
Brother i believe that talent makes its own way and nobody can stop it by any means. best of luck to you and to her too. JazakAllah
