@ rabia afzal

How fpsc know that they are not joining. They are in the list. They will not send acceptance letters. If those who are not joining are already excluded then please elaborate reallocation. Please comment. Seniors also.

a csp officer told me that they have to submit a affidivet to fpsc that they would join the new allocation only if their position improves in second attempt. otherwise hey wont join.so fpsc and knows those cndidates who are not joining. inatead of getting confused in procedural matters you should call fpsc and find ur group. there will be no re allocations as faras iknow.

Mine is OMG. I have confirmed from FPSC. But what is meant by improvement in position ? FPSC does not discriminate in groups. For example a person now(CE-2011) at 20 gets PAS(1st preference), but next year(CE-2012) he thinks PSP is better and select PSP as his 1st preference. He is at 23, now please allocate him ?
PSP has sufficent seats available.

dear you aregetting over obssessed by procedural mechanisms. first of all congrats on being allocated in css 2011. the affidevet conains a list f groups which the candidates desires to improve. if he falls short of those groups he wont be allocated. that is what i was told by an officr of PAAS. as iam not in civil sevice i cant elaborate this matter any more. the seniors would be in a better position to comment.

As far as I know, there is no such affidavit. Atleast there was not any when I joioned.

For clarification, I am in PA&AS and suppose I take the exam again and its the time to give my final options. I will not write PA&AS and those groups which were already below PA&AS when I got allocated initially. If my merit number the second time is such that I am falling in PA&AS, I wont be get allocated because I have not mentioned PA&AS.

Such an affidavit would kill the very purpose of competitive exam and I think it will be unconstitutional.

Alhamdullilah I got OMG it was my first Attempt.
Haider you can call 051-9207198 the officer on the line will ask your merit no and will tell you your group.
