Government Employee on contract above 28 years
Dear Members,
Can a government employee above 28 years serving on contractual basis apply for the competitive examination of CSS on the basis of 2 year relaxation quota? Regards Usman |

Upper age limit for CSS CE is 28 (as of now), for in service government employees it is relax-able by 2 years (subject to their respective departmental approval and recommendation). Therefore if you are in service for continuous 2 years and you get a letter stating the same from your department and you are less then 30 years on Dec 31, 2011 then you are definitely eligible...hope this helps.

Age relaxation
M also doing job as lecturer in the Govt of Punjab. I've been appointed in 2009 on contract basis for the period of 5 years but everyone knows it is permanent job. Criteria of age relaxation will b applicable on me?
