Dear Fellows

I want to gather a group of such candidates who were declared fail in the English Composition paper. I am of the view that the marks given in the subject are not purely on merit rather the subject has been targetted.

I cleared the same paper twice before and it cannot be that all of a sudden I am not even able to pass the same subject. This was my last attempt and excpet for this subject i have scored well. I believe there will be a large number of candidates like me who donot have anymore attempt and this unfair and non trasparent marking policy of FPSC has affected them.

I intend to form a group of such people and then mutually fight our case in a legal way. Please come forward and toghther we may earn our own right as well as help the future aspirants.

well, same the case with me .i was astonished at once when i see that i score only 14 marks .my attempt was so good that i was expacting more than 60.God help you ,we are with you.

We will form a group and will file a joint writ in any of the superior courts. The tranperancy of this marking will be challenged. I believe shortlisting has been done by deducting a certain number fo marks from this paper.

I am open to any form of action, but i believe writing to people in FPSC will not be of much benefit. They will only allow recounting and that even in our absence. I have a feeling that in English composition paper the marks have been deducted across the board and we would want the court to have a review done. If the marks have been deducted after marking or a re evaluation as been done then we have every right to be allowed the original marks. I donot think that papers will ever be reassesed.

We may write to the respected Chairman and Secretary FPSC.

We can have as many people on board, no issues with that. Its just that English Composition seems to have been targetted this year, whereas essay is always the tricky one. In english composition people are in the scores of 10-15 and that seems ridiculous.

but my concern is that how will we come to know that a certain number of marks have been deducted from every candidate? i mean its not like they will open the papers again. what can be done is that we, the students, shout out and make the concerned people hear us. i can't come up with a medium for that though :/ but whatever the majority of us decides (and that is they do take a step. i only see people viewing your and my post and just clicking close on the tabs), i am in. no mater what it is.

i failed the essay and am pass in composition. i can tell you that my essay went great. we were a group of a few friends and we all chose the same topic unfortunately. had the same outline more or less and yet, half passed and half failed. and my expression and style of writing was much better than those friends who have passed.
but whatever the case, i am in as long as people are willing to make a move towards transparency.

Good that you are in. Hopefully we will get some more support as well. I ahve a few other people who are willing to be with me as well. You should gather other people too whom you know personally.

I am also the victim. I passed all other papers including essay and failed in Eng P & C, Got 35 marks in it....... Though it was my 1st attempt but got a little disappointed to see my DMS.

I had 34 in it this time, in 2010 i had 59 and in 2011 46. I also cleared my essays all three times. I do believe that marks can vary from year to year but it cannot be that in your third atttempt you become so bad in the subject that you fail.

Me too passed in all papers,including essay paper except composition paper.I failed in it with 37 marks.
It was my first attempt.

No i never became overconfident about it. As i said the marks can vary from year to year but one does know his own ability in a subject. I know i am good enough to pass it atleast. And had it been just me who had low score in it while the subject gave better scores in general then it would have been acceptable by me. A large majority of the candidates have been declared fail in it and with very low scores. I personally know people who have good command on this subject but they have been declared fail. So just to raise our voice and ensure that marks were not reduced by FPSC after the initially award of marks by the examiner.
