Bro dont mind but the story you told about your 3 days preparation of CSS compulsory subjects is very hard to digest, keeping in view the nature and difficulty level of css exams. Are you having any ALLADIN'S Lamp???
Brother first of all, do keep in mind that it was my 2nd attempt. I attempted in 2011 and did around 8 months preparation for that, but I failed on aggregate. In 2010, I moved to Islamabad and attended an academy there.
Then later on I came back to Peshawar and started MBA. In the later months of 2011, I joined an academy in Peshawar for revision. But opted not to sit.
All I studied was during the lectures that I attended in Peshawar. Though I had submitted forms on my family's insistence but I had no plan of attempting. However, as luck would have, I sat for exams and the "REAL STUDY - FULL TIME" that I did was during 3 days prior to exams and that is reflected well in the scores of my compulsory subjects. A major role was played by the multiple events that I participated in while attending university and it groomed my personality. It was a trick based attempt, which I might share in the later posts.
I am not sharing details of academies because I believe the forum is a neutral place. Though I am thankful to both academies equally but I don't want to be an "Advertiser".

I went in for compulsory papers with just 3 days preparation, without practicing Essay and Precis & Composition, as I was in tussle with my father :P
As for optional papers, I was doing MBA at that time, and utilized all the slides that I had from lectures in my university in case of Business Administration.
In case of Journalism & Sociology, I used just the lectures that I had taken down during the classes at academy. I was expecting more from Sociology, but I let myself down.
Similarly in case of International Law, I did it all the work from lectures and bullet points that I took down during lectures.
For Psychology, I studied lectures handouts provided to me and did some discussions with a friend of mine. I was well prepared for Psychology I but for Psychology II all I studied was during the 2 hours break between the papers and that too because someone in the center helped me understand the basics at the very last moments.
I won't blame the subjects. It must have been my ill preparation in some cases.
Though, when I was attempting, I had a feeling that this is the max I can perform.

P.S - NO BOOKS ! I cannot stand them !
Thanks for your concern, I will be looking forward for your Success Story

And, this exam was taken by the candidates for a job, what would one do by knowing his merit number in Pakistan? So, I believe, uploading this piece of gibberish was the epitome of apathy, dereliction and a cause of angst for so many.
Two thumbs down, Mighty Comission!
The Commission is a perfect example of incompetence and bureaucratic red-tapism at its peak. It has created such hustle amongst the candidates which could have been avoided quite easily.
I hope the new lot would bring positive changes in the overall processes and systems wherever they are posted.

Brother Don't take it as an offence but Kindly give comprehensive details whenever you make a statement...Like this you can give a full picture of the whole scenario rather than telling half the truth and which may misguide others as was your earlier statement of 3 days preparation....In above quoted reply later you gave full details by stating that it was your second attempt and you had a preparation of 8 months prior to it.....Stay blessed and Happy

8 months in 2010 and then don't giving a damn to it for a complete year is something I would take into consideration and previous does not matter then ! That was past !
And if you want to go out there and pass then make sure that you draw margins on both sides that are at least 1 inch wide each, similarly a line on top and bottom, and then begin writing in larger format and do not write more than 5 words in a line and leave ample space between the line. Your every answer is going to end up of being at least of 10 pages and by the time you will finish your question paper you will be counting the answer sheet to be around on page # 50.
And frankly speaking my friend, you cannot take this mentality away from the system, no matter which exam you are taking in Pakistan !!!
That was all I did ! 8 months preparation & 2011 attempt was something of a past !
I changed my subjects !
