4% quota is for GB/FATA. Total number of vacancies for GB/FATA is 07. 04 for open merit, 02 for women and 01 for minorities.

Allocation has not been announced yet. These are groupwise no of vacancies for each region. With the help of these no of vacancies, one may become able to guess his/her group.

Still can't believe why GB FATA is not a FSP slot...it's a real mess...hard luck this time around..top slots given to women...unable to comprehend how they have distributed vacancies...!!!

The funny thing is that even last year FSP seat for GBFata was reserved for women. PCS was alloted to FAtA after three years ( last time it was in 2009) and this year , when GBFATA was given PCS, it was reserved for women. So gentlement, no more PCS for another 3 years.
ED, you people should have even reserved PAS for ladies, we guys from FATA can be recruited by Taliban.

Well, that was, of course, a joke.

Default Allocation Break Up

Can anyone make me understand the allocation break up in case of GB FATA...?

4 % quota we have...out of which 3.4 % open merit, .4% for women and .2 % for minorities...!

We must be given al least 8 seats this time around but given only 7..Even then the calculation entails that 5.95 seats should be listed as open merit bt they have listed Only 4..

For women it becomes .7 which can be rounded off to 1 but 2 seats, top groups, given to women...and minorities given1 seat...may be because of carry fwd calculations....n lastly no FSP seat as well :- (

somebody please shed light on this break up..how to go about it...how this is possible...GB FATA in real mess this time around..Future of many of us is at Stake...!!!thanks

Its gender discrimination. Male candidates of GB/FATA should raise their voice for their due rights.
