well amna , honestly speaking indo pak is the subject of deep interest as if u r interested to know the historical grounds of ur region then u can opt this , other perception of CSP's and other rumours are that indopak part 2 resembles with pak affairs its wrong because in indo pak 2 its purely historical paper and pak affair paper will be on current scenerio issues which are now a days active in media in our society and people got more than 130 as well but yes its true it requires some extra effort because majority people opt this so in competitive exam ur paper should be unique .......................r u satisfied with my answer or still experiencing indulge situation????????

This is unpredictable subject with comprehensive syllabus..i thought to opt it after some suggesions by the CSP's..yes paper 2 overlap with pak affairs that is the other reason...At the same time lil bit confuse.....to be honest i havnt that much interest in history...Need to put some more effort...as CSS is not about working hard its about working smart......but you are right that pak affair paper is based on current issues!!

i have also planned to appear in upcoming css exam.it is my first and last chance to appear.my optional subjects are public administration,pol sc,indo pak history,and international relations.all seniors are requested to help regarding subject selection and share experience and tips.one thing more that i have done masters in pol sc and IR.

Indo pak and pol science both are comprehensive...but at the same time u ve done masters in pol scince so i thnk it ll benifit u....

janab if u have done masters in those subjects then its obvious u also know something abt them so do go for polsci and IR according to IR AND pol sci course is lengthy but in ur case u have some background then whats the dilemma ????

yeah i also realize beside hardwork its smart work if u dont like indo pak go for arabic , geography these are also scoring but interest depends but plz donot give so much time in subject selection like me i had time for this essence may u dont have that much time so final ur subjects then start constructing palace in which u have to live in near future .

i also want to appear in css2013.And i going to opt political science,geography,Arabic..as i have taken an admission in uog for ma Ir & political sci..geography is new to me and Arabic i know lit bit...
only problem is English proficiency both written and spoken...
what do say about this!
