i have studied Trek to Pakistan for pak affairs, thats very good book only for the pre partition period,
so i have to face problem at the end for the other syllabus,
but now i have analysed that
for pre partition you may go through Trek to Pakistan,
or ba or b.com pak studies book in english by Ikram ul haq Raja and intermediate pak studies book,
both are too good,
even i have checked most of the objectives and question can easily be attempted by reading these two books,
i have not gone through by Ikram Rabbani, but mostly aspirant suggest that too.

for sociology i studied Hounton and Hauntt.
but i wont suggest anyone to study that, its an foreign author book, by studying it no doubt i have good concept for the sociology.
but it doesnot cover the whole syllabus ,
you must check some local pakistani writers.

For Pak affair u read " Struggle for Pakistan by I H Qureshi " and Trek to Pakistan

For punjabi u read jhangir publisher book and make ur own hand outs

For Pak affair u also read the book by Philip Mason " The Man Who Ruled India" The Best one for Pak Affair and Indo Pak History Paper 2

Default How to make notes
i become little bit confused when someone says that make notes. what does that mean????????? css papers are conceptual and we have unlimited syllabus to cover....how can somebody make notes???? plzzzzzzz help

Well any one refers more than one book for particular topics then its good to write important points at one place so that next time need not open all the books for single topic. As one book may not provide sufficient details on some topics thats why some people are of the opinion that making notes is a good way. Off course making concepts should be the main focus but while for second/third reading its good to prepare outlines or some important points at least as this will save a lot of time as well refresh your concepts.

dont confuse notes with your normal studies notes.

as far my experience for css 2012 is concerned, notes are just important points of the topics you studying.
when you read a topic just cram the main theme and if some history then just write the points and events date wise and also make good headings,
because when you are appearing in exam you wont be getting time to revise whole topic so those points and headings would be helpful for you.

and also this practice would surely help you in english precise

Making outlines is a good practice to revise it in just few minutes. For example when you are going to appear in 2nd paper in evening shift you have only 2 hours gap in which you have might need to revise many things besides taking lunch. If you have outlines/main ideas/headings you can go through it in a short span of time.

To make hand outs and ur ouwn small notes is a good practice it make revision easy and save ur time in papers. I have all books including compulsory subjects hand outs.

I have all notes in hard copies u can get photo copies of notes..


Dawn news is very important in study u make hand outs of column of dawn.
